Today, the Shanghai Promax PDM project kick-off meeting was officially held. Promax’s deputy general manager, main members of the design department, purchasing department and production department and the Zhicheng technology project team participated in the kick-off meeting.
Shanghai Promax is a professional deburring equipment manufacturing company. In the past, there were many management difficulties in the management of enterprise product data.
1. Product data information is difficult to share within the enterprise, and it is impossible to connect the information data of various departments in series, and it is naturally impossible to realize information sharing.

There are many changes in this way, and the cycle from conceptual design (scheme change) to design modification is often carried out. Such a cycle may be repeated many times, resulting in delays in product delivery and high costs.
The SOLIDWORKS PDM project solves the problems of enterprise information management one by one.

5. Version control function For equipment manufacturing, the development process may include a lot of design changes. SOLIDWORKS PDM can directly read and process the differences in parts and components between different versions.
6. Automated tools (macro tasks) and secondary development functions to improve efficiency. A series of automated tools can be defined in SOLIDWORKS PDM to complete tedious software operation tasks. This type of task can be completed at fixed points.
